Edoardo Aruta He lives and works in Venice. He studied at the Accademia di Belle Arti in Rome and at the IUAV in Venice. He works as a scenographer and costume designer for the theatre and the cinema. His research focuses on the study of art’s languages and how they determine on the basis of their relationship the man has with space and with the social context in which he lives, using the artistic action as a means for a cognitive and explorative experience of the environment in which he or she lives. This kind of exploration brought to the inclusion in its practice of different types of language, from the traditional approach of sculpture to installation, photography and alternative spaces. Aruta took part to national and international exhibitions. He is now in residence in the Atelier BLM 2014-Bevilacqua La Masa Foundation, Venice- with the Gli Impresari project and in Wunderkammer Trento with Grand Tour.
